One of the most popular talks at Technoport 2015 was from Pascal Finette, who flew all the way from California to join us in Trondheim. He even stayed the following day to run a workshop. Right now, he heads up the SU Startup Lab, which has a mission to “educate, inspire and empower leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges" - a perfect fit with our aims here at Technoport.
Here's an opportunity from Pascal that may be perfect for you and your startup.
The SU Labs Startup Accelerator is the world’s first accelerator program built exclusively for startups leveraging exponential technologies. A passion to positively impact the world of tomorrow – and help improve the lives of 1 billion people – is a shared mindset among all participants.
The Startup Accelerator is specifically designed for entrepreneurs who utilize the power of exponential technologies such as sensor networks, artificial intelligence, robotics, and synthetic biology to address global grand challenges including those of the environment, government, security, poverty, health, and education.
They are now accepting applications for the Spring 2016 cohort.
The program includes an intense 8-week experience where startups will go from prototype or early proof-of-concept to scale. It begins with a one-week Exponential Thinking Bootcamp followed by four weeks of accelerated learning, covering topics ranging from future forecasting, rapid prototyping, business fundamentals to fundraising.
This is followed by four weeks of time to integrate what you learned and to build your product.
They are looking for people daring to solve at the systems level. People working on the cutting edge of technology and leveraging this technology to positively impact the world. People like you.
Application Deadline is February 19, 2016.
